MRA Roofing & Construction is a well-established company with over 14  years’ experience in Metal Roofing. We have a strong focus on quality and always strive to ensure we meet customer expectations while ensuring compliance with all relative Australian Standards and QBCC legislative requirements.

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast, QLD who will be working closely with our Managing Director responding and managing sales within the Brisbane territory.

MRA will provide training, coaching, and support as this position is fast paced, challenging and rewarding. For the right candidate, there is great opportunity for growth and success within our company.

About the Role:

• Estimating domestic and commercial job costings.
• Ensuring all aspects of the roof, fascia, gutter etc and any intricacies of the roof, as requested are included, or optioned, in the quotes.
• Liaising with suppliers and clients.
• Managing sales numbers
• Reporting

About you:

• A strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
• Effective time management
• Must have metal roofing estimating experience
• Expansive knowledge of the roofing industry
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Manage your own diary

Experience & Requirements:

• Reliable vehicle and mobile phone
• Must be able to occasionally climb ladder/roof access and transition on to roofs for analysis and inspections.
• 3+ years sales experience in the roofing preferred but we will train the right person with no roofing experience.
• Self-driven with an exceptional work ethic and the determination to succeed
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and effective time management skills
• Customer-oriented with ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and written skills
• The ability to generate new business and to build long-term relationships with building owners & facility managers, architects, engineers, consultants, etc.
